Freshman Party!

So before school started, we had our NAFA Freshman Party! It was masquarade themed so we all geared up in masks :D All the pics were taken & edited by Dania, which is quite obvious. My pics aren't usually like that O.O

It got pretty hot after dancing for awhile so we took off our masks! I remember everyone tied their masks to mine and Imah's bag haha. Taufiq & Khai were nice enough to offer to carry our bags the entire time! Aw!

After awhile the party got a bit boring so we left and had prata dinner :D

Then we chilled out at LJS, talking and bonding. (:

It was overall a fun night! It was quite cool of our school to actually hold a freshman party! Really enjoyed bonding with the people whom I was gonna work with in class for the next 3 years!

Cebu Trip 2012

Ok so I decided to keep up with this journal. I do wanna be able to look back down the road with this blog and be able to keep all the memories I've created, and I'm behind by months! Time to start again.

So here's where I left off - Cebu Trip 2012 (7 Jul to 11 Jul)

It had been 4 years since I went back there. This balcony was a new addition to the front of my aunt's house and I was seeing it for the first time! Feels so Hawaiian.

My 14 year old cousin who's gotten waaaay taller than me. Bet it's more thanks to his Chinese blood than Filipino blood cuz Filipinos are generally short, hahaha.

Food in the Philippines = DA BOMB.

I really enjoyed bonding with my cousins whom I rarely get to see. We had so much fun just playing cards (epecially with the aircon on, escaping the heat in the Philippines!!. :D )

Missed Angelene the most! She gets bigger every time I see her. (':

Epic clouds!! One of the things I love most about the Philippines is the lack of high-rise buildings. There, I get to admire the vast beauty of the sky properly.

So peaceful. Being away from the city buzz in Singapore felt amazing.


Jolibee!! Finally got to have Jolibee after 4 years!!!

The sun was setting on the first day there!

We were bored cuz it was too dark outside, so we played with my camera's self-timer setting. Hahaha!

Then everyone started trying to sabo each other in the shots, lol!!

I'm such a kid around them ♥

You know we were being idiotic when we started posing with things we took from the kitchen.


Then, we got a bit retarded................

This was from the time we couldn't take staying indoors anymore just because it was too dark outside (it gets REALLY dark at night in the Philippines), we got our uncle to drive us to the mall. My cousin changed to that Singapore shirt on purpose. Hahaha.

They had Penshoppe in Cebu!! Leighton Meester and Zac Efron are endorsing their label!!


Potato Corner!!! Missed this for 4 damn years!! This is like their "Best Fries Forever" but I prefer Potato Corner!!

Just thought this was a cool store and that I had to snap a pic.

Day 2:

You will never see a view like this outside of any mall in Singapore. Check it out, no high-rise buildings blocking the big beautiful sky.

We had huge ass pizza (New York style) for lunch!

After a whole day of shopping & walking around, we walked back out to the setting sun.

The Wedding

Lauden's wedding was at Chatau De Busay, it was up in the hills and the view was amazing!

The bridesmaids and groomsmen had to make an appearance by pair again before the dinner!

Best thing about the Philippines, we can have fireworks anywhere and any time we want. During the bride & groom's slow dance, they fired off a 5 minute display of fireworks!! It was gorgeous. Too bad I didn't know how to set my camera to capture the fireworks best! :(

So apparently it's some sort of tradition for relatives and friends to pin their gift money on the bride & groom! I didn't know that either haha.

That marks the end of the wedding!

I remember how we left right before it started to pour! How lucky! This year's trip to Cebu was a memorable one. I ate so much cuz I knew I wouldn't get to have the awesome Filipino food for god knows how long again until I return back there! Even the coke tastes better there. O____O

I wish I managed to take more photos! But most of the time when were out, my mom discouraged me from holding my camera openly when we weren't in the city areas cuz theft is quite prevalent in non-city areas.

I miss the food there! The Spanish bread, the potato corner fries, Jolibee and recently introduced to me - Krispy Kreme donuts!! They have branches like all over the world except Singapore. -.- What is this! Hahaha. Can't wait for the next trip again. Didn't even get to do many things like go fishing at the lake!

Oh yes that reminds me, the most gorgeous scene I saw there, was the lake behind my grandmother's house. Are you ready?!..........................

I never got to see this when I was a kid because there was a dense forest in the way. But over the 4 years that I haven't been there, they cleared the forest for more housing and I finally could walk through the area. This took my breath away. I was actually so upset that i didn't bring my DSLR out, I had to make do with my stupid iPhone camera which didn't do the scene justice! :O
