Daniel the Hair Model

Yes, Daniel modelled for Chapter 2 last Saturday! So Wai Synn & I went to watch him strut that runway. This was the hair they gave him!

After the show, Wai Synn left early and we met up with Sandy! Sandy & I totally went crazy at the Scape Flea market. It was near closing time so sellers were desperate to clear stocks, Sandy & I scored AWESOME steals!

 
I got all these for $9 ALTOGETHER. Wtf right?!

 
I got this for $5. What. a. steal.

 
And this? This was under the "3 for $1" section. THREE FOR ONE FREAKING DOLLAR! OMG and it goes so well with my red hair! ♥

Oh yes, I also forgot to blog about the NUS Arts Fest Afiq and Shafiq performed at with their school's showchoir. The main reason I post about events like this is not really for people to read (I ain't even sure who reads this anymore) but for me to have journal I can look back at all the memories I had, in the future.

Afiq's Birthday Cake Surprise

 We surprised Afiq at his school with a rainbow cake Wendy & I baked! He had no idea we were coming. :P

Happy 20TH birthday to one of my bestfriends in the whole wide world. ♥ I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that you are freakin 20 YEARS OLD! DAFUQ! Hahaha. Oh how time has passed. We've been bestfriends for 4 years. You're one of the sweetest guys I've ever met, you're always there to make me smile when I'm sad. When you see me cry, you won't give up trying to make me laugh until I really do. 

When I lose hope in things, you're always there to help me gain that hope back and you never stop trying until you see that I've genuinely gotten than spark of hope back.

You're creative, you're caring, you're sweet, you're talented and you're one of the most determined, hardworking person I know. 

4 years of one of the best friendships I've ever had, and counting.

AFIQ'S 20TH BIRTHDAY AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!

I LOVE the Far Far Away section of Universal Studios.

"CONCRETE JUNGLE WHERE DREAMS ARE MADE OF!"

They were "lost" in The Lost World. LOL.

 
Man, the roller coaster rides were EPIC. Afiq & I kept insisting on taking the first row of the ride because it's more thrilling. I FOUND MY NEW ADRENALINE JUNKIE PARTNER.

We also kept give epic poses for the camera that captured us before we went down the roller coaster. HAHA! I so wanted to purchase one photo but I forgot about it until we were already out of USS. ): But the pics were HILARIOUS. First, we all gave a peace sign. LOL! It tickled my funny bone because of the irony of how we're supposed to look terrified but we gave retarded peace signs. HAHAHA. 

The second time, we all gave the "SOON" face. Don't know what's the "SOON" face?
It's like this -

We did that face Shafiq is making in that photo for the roller coaster camera. It was EPIC. Even the woman working at the photo counter was laughing. Shafiq & I were the only ones who managed to pull the "SOON" face while Wai Synn let fear take over half her facial expression and Afiq faced the wrong way HAHAHA WTF!

Waterworld! Their performance was amazing. As usual.

Managed to capture this epic shot of the villain falling off a tremendous height in flames!


We went on a non-peak day and CHECK OUT THE LINE for the Transformers ride. It was like that for EVERY RIDE. Awesome or WHAT?! On a usual peak day, you'd have to wait like an hour or more for each ride!

After a great day at Universal Studios, we had dinner at Coastes Bar at Siloso Beach with our feet in the sand. It was amazing.

It was an absolutely amazing day. I smiled when Afiq said it was the best birthday celebration he has ever had. I smiled because of two things - one, that I was really happy he had a great birthday, two, because the birthday suprises we had planned for him were not over yet............ (;
