Last Sunday I saw my first rainbow
& it was a double rainbow in fact! Can you see the second one? Whee!
Yeaaah... I'm 17 and I've JUST seen my first rainbow.
I was always rarely outdoors....deprived childhood ):

I posted this pic on your birthday last year. Oh wait no, it last LAST year. 2009!
It feels like last year only (:

Us in 2009!

BABY FACED IN 2009!

This year, we're of the same height (I REFUSE TO ADMIT THAT YOU'RE TALLER!)
Wow Daniel's jacket is huge. Makes me look like a hobo.

Ok maybe just a bit taller...D:

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY NASRI DEMETRIUS SADI!

I remember when I first met you outside Scape during Pierrot. I thought you were a total P6 bitch. The only thing I was wrong about you was that you are actually a few months OLDER than me. You were so tiny back then! So small and short hahaha. I remember when Daniel and I changed the "Springtime For Hitler" song to "Springtime for Nasri, and all the short people!" HAHAHA.

Well Nas, you were my bestfriend since then. I could always go to you for advice and you always gave me sane advice. Unlike SOME other people I shall not mention...*ahem a certain guy who thought lady bugs were a type of spider...

Even though we didn't get to see each other for the whole of 2010, I could still pour out to you when we met again this year. When we started hanging out again, I felt as if the whole year away from each other never even happened. It was instantly like old times again where I could tell you just about everything. I have no idea why, but you're one of the very few people I feel the most comfortable telling everything to. Maybe because you're the last person who would judge me. You're my bitch bestie, Nas.

I remember those times when I used to hack into your blogger account and change your name to Nasri DeMistress Sadi. LOL. and I also miss those times when you were way shorter than me! Now look at you, same height..maybe slightly taller...maybe...hmmpph. Hahaha I love you Nas!

One of the worst feelings in the world is having to doubt something you thought was unquestionable.

This happened last night! Haha!

Behind the soundboard @ Scape. I thought you were a very shy noob girl.
At the recording studio. I thought you were just a noisy mat.
At Sengkang CC. I thought you wouldn't be able to fit in with us.
At Scape, we had our 5 minute KFC dinner. I thought you were a very quiet girl.
At the Bedok store. I thought you were an ah lian.
At Bukit Merah Sec. I thought you were a typical noisy ah lian and I would never be able to bond with you.
At Scape, you were introduced as the "Combined Science guy" lol. I thought you were just another smart-alec.
At Scape, I thought you were a very quiet introvert. You were that little girl everyone always forgot about.
In a classroom at PL when you handed me the squad form. I thought you were a student as well!
In the PL dance studio on the first day you started teaching there. I thought you looked weird but yet mysterious.
At Danica's house during her O's prep photoshoot. I thought you were just a typical English-beng.

Keyword: Thought.

These are the ones that stand out in my memory because of how bloody WRONG I was!
There was so much more to everyone. So god damn much more.
Look at how far we've come from.
I have/had very interesting & epic people in my life.
Epic is even actually an understatement....

21MAR

See that boy doing his homework in homeroom? … He couldn’t do it last night because he was too busy talking his best friend out of suicide. See that girl, with her face caked in make up? … She’s bullied, she needs to feel beautiful. See him, the one who wears long sleeves everyday? … He covers his arms to hide the scars. See her, with the cheap, hand-me-down clothes? … Her family can’t afford food for half the month, let alone get brand names. See the girl who laughs and smiles at every little thing? … She cries herself to sleep every night. Wonder why she never lets her friends over her house? … Because she’s afraid they’ll see her dad passed out drunk on the floor, as always. See how that girl cringes as rape jokes? … She was raped. See the boy who everyone goes to for advice? … He wishes someone would do the same for him. See the girl who never brings a lunch? … She’s disgusted by her body. See her, with the little waist? … She goes to the bathroom and forces herself to throw up so that she can keep her waist that way. See the boy over there, see the dark circles under his eyes? … He has insomnia, he fears what he’ll see in his dreams. See that girl daydreaming over there? … She has schizophrenia. See the boy biting his nails? … He has cancer and he’s wondering how much time he has left. See your best friend? … She’s addicted to drugs, but she can’t tell you because you wont understand. See that boy reading all about 9/11? … His parents died on that day. See her, with her phone on her at all times? … She’s waiting for a call saying her sister was found after a kidnapping 4 years ago. Don’t judge.

Kids These Days

This has got to be a joke. You can definitely hear some autotune. Seriously? What kind of nerd song is THAT!?
"Fun fun fun fun" like wtf!
The song is so lame, ridiculous, annoying...but oddly catchy. FML.

Now watch this:

It's girls like her that save the young music industry. She's years younger than Rebecca Black and way more talented. Like seriously, WIllow's only effin' 10 YEARS OLD. I love Willow Smith.

Oh I just realized that in the Twilight series, there really is a character named Rebecca Black, lol! Though she didn't really have a major part, she was just kinda mentioned as Jacob Black's sister. For those who read the series, remember.....? The Black family had a pair of twin girls, Rachel & Rebecca Black. Hahaha.

Daniel filling in his Lasalle enrolment package! Lucky ass got into Lasalle! ):

Another awesome night out with the boys last night at Sentosa! Reached home at 12pm this time. Hahaha. We spent the night talking again...hey, we had a whole year's worth to catch up on! Daniel spent some of the time filling in Lasalle enrolment package forms too. Gosshhh he's a Lasalle student nowwww. I'm so jealous. ):

So last night, the four of us practiced vocals too! My vocal range increased! Yay! They said I sing like Quinn from Glee, just that I have a wider vocal range. :D Been practicing kay...in the shower and all :P I also helped Daniel with the Capitalism dance since he's supposed to take my place. Apparently Hakim taught Daniel a few wrong moves...tsk tsk.

We also started doing "Wendy Poses" Hahaha! Yes, we missed Wendy THAT much!!!

We spent the night at the top of the tower on that isolated island at Palawan Beach. It felt so good. Being away from home, the buzz of the Singapore city...just the four of us. Then, almost like in a matter of no time, the sun began to rise. I somehow felt as if we were like playing Survivor, HAHAHA. In the morning we were so shagged and desperate for a shower. Only Daniel fell asleep for like almost an hour. The rest of us were wide awake throughout the night. We headed down to the beach at sun rise. Had so much fun playing on the shore, jump shots and all! To think I actually haven't seen Daniel for more than a year and only started seeing him again this March holiday, and we just clicked again on the spot, meeting up like everyday of the week! This whole week, it felt as if that whole "haven't-seen-each-other-for-more-than-a-year" never happened. We just start having fun and being as close as we were in the past. In fact, the 4 of us are even closer now.

Guys, like we were saying, the next time my mom goes overseas and we plan another getaway from home, we're booking a hotel room! Then, after my O's, we'll go Hong Kong to shop or Bintan to play laser battles!

Anyway, today things changed. I had to hide my "Single" status on facebook. If there are already boys trying to talk to me all the time when I was attached, I don't wanna know what will happen if they find out I'm single. -.-

Night Out @ Sentosa

Yesterday was awesome!!! So first, met up with Afiq, Nasri, Daniel, Carol, Danica, Kimberly, Hazwani & Nini for dinner @ Vivo City! Omg, it has been AGES since we last saw Kimberly! She's always so busy filming and all. But aww, it was sweet of her to make time for us. I miss that hot-jacob. :D hahaha good times, good times...

After Dani, Carol, Hazwani and Nini left cuz they had curfew, Kim, Afiq, Daniel, Nas and I started trying to take jump shots. I swear, the attempted shots were HILARIOUS! The faces and all!

While buying dinner, Afiq pointed and shouted at Kimberly, "CELEBRITY!" and a bunch of guys suddenly turned, noticed Kim were like, "Eh! That's the Fighting Spiders girl!". If I were Kimberly, I'd have slapped Afiq. Hahaha.

Then after Kim left, the four of us remained at Starbucks. Daniel and I finally got to have our caramel frapp. Hahaha and then it all happened in Starbucks...HAHAHA! What happened in Starbucks, STAYS in Starbucks!

So then, we were about to head home. We even hugged goodbye at the mrt station and Nasri went off to the bustop. Daniel, Afiq & I were dragging our feets and we started whining about not wanting to go back yet. So we decided to have another all night thing again! We had to tap out of the station again and called Nasri to meet us again hahaha. Afiq was like, "I wasted 30 cents!" -.-

Then we spent the night @ Sentosa!

SO; some of the highlights of the night:

- Deciding on which accent to use if people come and talk to us. (We wanted to pretend to be tourists).
- Afiq was born in Singapore and raised in America
- I was born in Singapore and raised in London
- Nasri was born in Singapore, raised in France and studied to London
- Daniel was born in Singapore and raised in BINTAN.

- We went OVER-SEAS
- We went to Venice, Hollywood & Hong Kong

- The boys bathed in the female toilets to accmpany me cuz I was the only girl there. (It was like close to 2am, damn scary kay!)
- Daniel and I screaming when the cold water hit us.
- Nasri walking out of the shower wearing Daniel's extra shirt, looking like it was gonna burst open any moment, sending Daniel and I into laughing fits.
- What more, he also came out in his red underwear. HAHAHAHHAAAAAA! Imagine the whole image!
- I was laughing so hard I was unable to speak!

- Crossing the bridge at Palawan beach and trying out best not to freak out and run cuz that would have been chaotic..the bridge was so narrow...
- So narrow that we could only walk in a single file, and Nasri constantly saying "make sure you don't leave Rachel walking behind!" and still chionging infront -.-

- Afiq &  I being terrified of the Merlion.
- It was so huge and the eyes and mouth are so freaky! Especially when it was at midnight!
- Me gripping onto Afiq & Nasri as we walk past the Merlion.
- Afiq & I holding our breaths as we walked past it.
- Come to think of it, it was damn stupid...

- Sitting at the top of the tower on that isolated island and having deep conversations.
- Daniel falling asleep after awhile, with his mouth open.
- Afiq trying to keep Daniel's mouth closed.

Then the boys suddenly so desperately needed to pee. So we headed back to the toilets. It was past 4am. Let's just say, Nasri didn't get to pee. I'm even too afraid to talk about it right now... but I would like to thank the guys for being so brave for me. I was freaking out and close to having a panic attack, but you guys stayed calmed for me and held on to me all the way until we reached the 7-Eleven where it was brighter. Aww I love you guys to the max.

- So, we bought food and camped outside of 7-Eleven where there was light.
- Hey, we were doing a good deed by keeping the lonely 7-Eleven dude who had to work the
night shift! Hahaha

- More talking and laughing fits
- Waka Waka, Walter Walter HAHAHA Wendy always has to be dragged into our jokes!
- Then we moved over to the beach and watched the sun rise together.

I love these people
